An ambient piece designed to accompany a journey around the interior of Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral.

I am not a religious person, but whenever I visit the cathedral I am very conscious of the impact its environment has on my state of mind. It so easily conjures a sense of introspection.

Using just one synth, a choir and field recordings of the cathedral's spaces (both interior and exterior); the piece concerns itself with the nature of the cathedral’s spiritual atmosphere in contrast to a louder, busier representation of the external.
